Rolex Watches: Perfectly Crafted for You –1972 Rolex Red Submariner 1680 with Box and Papers

Excellent thick case with the bezels still visible on the lugs. The 11 o’clock lugs has a ding not the corner of the dial.  The fat font bezel insert is lightly faded. The case back is stamped IV 72 Bracelet: Excellent 9315 band with 380 end pieces   Watch is running at COSC spec. The watch was recently purchased from the original owner who has had it since 1973.

Excellent mark 5 red Submariner dial with very light wear on the 12 o’clock marker. The 11 o’clock hour plot is slightly darker then the rest of the hour markers. The watch comes with the correct open 6 and 9 silver date disk. The hands are lightly corroded and appear to be original to the watch.

Box, Punched papers, booklets, green folder. Please note the inside cutout that holds the watch in place inside the inner box is missing. The watch is running at COSC spec.
